Allocate Budget from Mediaocean Prisma to ClearLine

To simplify the process of setting up campaigns and invoicing, buyers can push direct IOs from the Mediaocean Prisma platform to ClearLine.

By using this feature, buyers can reduce the amount of duplicative work in both platforms, streamline the setup and execution time of programmatic buys, ensure budget values in both platforms match, and automate billing reconciliation.

Set up the Mediaocean API integration

First, make sure that the integration is set up and active. This feature needs to be set up per account by an Admin. Contact Tech Ops if you need help.

After the API integration feature is enabled, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to ClearLine.
  2. In the navigation bar, click Demand > Demand > +Demand.
  3. Create a line item.
  4. Scroll down to “Custom integration” and set Mediaocean Prisma to Active.

Learn the Customer workflow

After making sure the ClearLine account is set up and enabled for the Mediaocean API integration, follow the steps below:

  1. In the ClearLine account, create a Demand Partner.
  2. Link the provisioned Mediaocean account and ClearLine account using the Demand Partner ID by following this integration guide.
  3. When you set up a Programmatic line in Mediaocean Prisma, be sure to choose ClearLine as the partner from the dropdown list.
  4. Complete order setup as normal. The order will create Campaign(s) in the ClearLine account with fields for budget type, budget value, flight dates, and pacing time zone. The Mediaocean Prisma Campaign ID, Order ID, and Placement ID are also presented in the ClearLine platform for usability.
  5. Set up the Demand Tags and Creatives in ClearLine in the appropriate Campaign(s).

To automate the reconciliation process, ClearLine automatically generates and pushes a bill back to Mediaocean Prisma at the end of the month.
