Magnite Data Onboarding: LiveRamp

Overview

This document outlines the process for onboarding both first-party (1PD) and third-party (3PD) audience segments to Magnite platforms (DV+, Magnite Streaming, and SpringServe) using LiveRamp.

Platform-Specific Activation Steps

Magnite supports multiple platforms for audience segment activation. While each platform may require slightly different information to complete the distribution process, the general onboarding steps remain consistent and are outlined below.

Step 1:

Log into your LiveRamp Connect account.  From the Dashboard view, navigate to “Distribute Data” selection.

Step 2: Add Destination

  • The Destination Accounts Dashboard will open, displaying your established Destination Accounts and “New Destination Account” in the top right corner of the page.
  • Select the “New Destination Account” button to begin configuring your Magnite Destination Account.
    • Magnite uses different Destination Accounts depending on the platform you are targeting (DV+, Streaming, Spring Serve).
  • The “Choose a Destination” page will open, allowing you to see all available destinations.
  • Using the Search bar, type in Magnite to see the available Destination Accounts, Magnite DV+ and Magnite Streaming.
  • To make your selection, hover over the Destination Account and click activate.
  • After making your selection, the available integration options will vary based on the platform you selected. If you're unsure which option to choose, please reach out to your Account Manager for guidance. (This example uses the DV+ Destination Account.)

Step 3: Configure Destination (Example uses Magnite DV+)

  • Each destination tile will require specific inputs to complete the configuration process. While the required fields may vary slightly, most destinations typically require some variation of the following information. If you need help determining the correct inputs, please contact your Magnite Account Manager.
    • End Date: This is the date LiveRamp will automatically stop delivering data. Once the end date is reached, data delivery will cease, and the Destination Account will become inactive. You will need to reconfigure it to resume delivery.
    • Identifier Settings: The types of identifiers you want to send to the selected Magnite destination. Accepted identifiers vary by platform.
    • LiveRamp destinations require some variation of the following values, which can be confirmed by your Magnite Account Manager:
      • Account ID
      • Partner ID
      • Client ID
      • Seat ID
  • Once the information is accepted your Destination Account will be functional and accessible via your “Destination Accounts” dashboard.
